Islands

This amazing dive site located south of Mashraba is made up of beautiful underwater islands connected by coral mazes. The entry is marked by a sign on the beach.

You will have to walk or swim across a wide reef platform, so it is advisable to enter at high tide. Enter the water and dive down to a series of three pools with sandy bottom and surrounded by gorgeous shallow and colourful corals. In the last pool, enter a hard coral labyrinth that brings you to the open water side of the islands. The maximum depth is around 20 metres, and you can dive other an extensive coral garden full of surprises. Circle the islands from outside before entering another labyrinth to bring you back inside the shallow pools.

After your safety stop, exit through a shallow (2 metres) and narrow tunnel in the reef plate coming up to the reef platform.
