Eel Garden

This dive site is located a few hundred metres north of Lighthouse in Dahab. It is accessed by the promenade or by a small internal road. Eel Garden is only dived in non windy conditions, as surface and underwater currents can be strong.

The entry to Eel Garden is a small underwater channel accessed after 3 minutes walk or swim above the reef plate. The 15 metre-long channel is gorgeous and sometimes hosts schools of colourful glassfish. Exit the channel and dive down the slope before leaving the coral to your left and continuing the dive north through a garden of eels and pufferfish. Continue northward, then turn around and follow the reef wall to your right until you reach the entrance channel.
