Shams
Shams (“sun” in Arabic) is the hotel manager; he has worked in tourism for years and has travelled around the world. He is a SDI dive instructor and a passionate CCR and advanced trimix diver that has more than 4000 dives under his weight belt. Shams speaks English, Arabic and German. Shams hotel is his passion and he’s looking forward to welcome you in the friendly/family atmosphere of his gorgeous accommodation and dive centre.
Hamdi
Hamdi is a PADI master scuba dir trainer and the dive centre operations manager. He has been working as a professional diver in the Red Sea since 2000. And with more than 7000 dives and 1000 students accumulated during his teaching years, he is the professional reference for everything that touches diving. Hamdi welcomes you each day at the dive centre and will make your diving trip unforgettable.
Tarek Omar
Tarek is to diving what diving is to Tarek – a passion, that has blossomed during his years of experience in the beautiful waters of the Red Sea. He is a reference when it comes to diving and an equipment specialist, and speaks English and Arabic. Tarek is our tec diving manager and a TDI/SDI instructor trainer that can teach you everything you need to know about tec diving.
Peter Lorents
Meet Peter, our rebreather Instructor Trainer and rebreather facility manager. Peter is also an advanced trimix instructor and has years of experience to teach you your first (or second) steps in CCR diving. Come and challenge yourself with Peter at Shams dive centre.
