Caves
Caves entrance is not marked by any signboard but can be found in front of a small Bedouin restaurant at a round rocky entrance in the reef plate. Once you have jumped in the wide opening, descend along a gravely slope on which, at a depth of 3 metres, two caves open up on your right and your left; the ‘caves’ are in fact more like large overhangs than real caves, but are still worth visiting for their unusual fauna and flora.
The southern cave is straight to your right, covered with soft corals, sponges and black corals attached to the ceiling of the caves. The left cave descends to a depth of 20 metres.
You can dive Caves as a drift either north or south, or explore the reef walls before shallowing up inside the caves to explore them during your safety stop. Bring a torch!
