Bells to Blue Hole
“Bells” is an enclosed chimney in the reef plunging from the surface to about 25 metres deep, with a sheer wall drop-off reaching several hundred metres. It is located about 150 metres north of the Blue Hole.
You enter the dive site through a crack in the reef. One person at a time, proceed to descend straight down the chimney. The exit of the open chimney is located at around 25 metres through a small arch. After the exit, you abandon the chimney and follow the reef-wall on your right whilst ascending slightly.
Drifting south towards the Blue Hole, you will arrive at the saddle 20 to 30 minutes into the dive. The saddle enters inside the Blue Hole at a depth of around 7 metres. Once inside the Blue Hole, you can choose to turn right or left and follow the reef walls on either side to the exit. Tec divers prefer to enter and exit the Blue Hole and dive the infamous Arch, a tunnel connecting the inside of the Blue Hole to the blue water outside the reef wall at around 55 metres.
